Press Release: VietAmCham to Hold Inaugural Reception in Arlington, Virginia

Falls Church, VA - The Vietnamese American National Chamber of Commerce (“VietAmCham”) will be holding its Inaugural Reception on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in the F. Scott Fitzgerald Ballroom of the Westin Arlington Gateway, Arlington, Virginia.

The highly anticipated official debut of VietAmCham follows months of intense groundwork building. Interest in VietAmCham has swelled as the economy experiences bumps with short-lived glimmers of hope. The three highest Vietnamese-American elected officials from both parties, Congressman Joseph Anh Cao (LA – R), Assemblyman Van Tran (CA – R), and State Representative Hubert Vo (TX – D), warmly welcomed the creation of VietAmCham and joined hands to serve as the chamber’s honorary co-chairs.

Falls Church, VA – Phòng Thương Mại Việt Mỹ Toàn Quốc (VietAmCham) sẽ tổ chức lễ ra mắt vào thứ Ba, ngày 15 tháng 9, năm 2009 tại khách sạn Westin Arlington Gateway (hội trường F. Scott Fitzgerald Ballroom) ở Arlington, tiểu bang Virginia.

Trong bối cảnh một nền kinh tế suy thoái và dự đoán tương lai bi đát cho nhiều đồng hương và cơ sở thương mại trong cộng đồng Việt, VietAmCham, sau nhiều tháng chuẩn bị, chính thức ra mắt họat động. Với tầm vóc hoạt động toàn quốc cho tập thể doanh nhân Mỹ gốc Việt, VietAmCham sẽ sánh vai họat động cùng các phòng thương mại cộng đồng bạn và dòng chính. Ba vị dân cử cấp cao nhất của cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt toàn quốc – Dân biểu Cao Quang Ánh (LA – Cộng hòa), Dân biểu tiểu bang Trần Thái Văn (California – Cộng hòa), và Dân biểu tiểu bang Võ Hiền Hubert (Texas – Dân chủ), đón chào VietAmCham chính thức đi vào họat động và cùng đồng ý phục vụ trong vai trò đồng chủ tịch danh dự của VietAmCham.
